Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is a naturally occurring free fatty acid found mainly in meat and dairy products, in small amounts. Omega-3 fatty acids are classified as "essential" because the body can't make them from other substances and they must, therefore, be obtained through diet or supplementation.
